The vendor recipe system allows the player to sell items to any town vendor in exchange for a multitude of currency items and equipment. Each recipe requires semi-specific items or combinations of items be put into the sell window at the same time, and the outcome will change based on any recipes that have been matched. Unless noted otherwise, each item may only be involved in a single recipe at a time.
Items (and their costs) sold by vendors as part of their normal inventory are covered on the vendor page.
==Equipment== | |||
Unless otherwise stated, the item level and rarity of the item produced are both equal to the lowest item level and rarity among all items required for the recipe.
*An Iron Ring with item level 55 plus Leap Slam yields a Ruby Ring with item level 55.
*A magic Amber Amulet plus a rare Lapis Amulet plus an Orb of Transmutation yields a magic Agate Amulet.
===Crafting=== | |||
The following vendor recipes allow you to craft existing items (see also: crafting), by adding a specific modifier that you need.
All recipes of this type create a new base item (with randomized base defences) and will remove enchantments, Fractured modifiers, Eldritch implicits, and Synthesised implicits on the resultant item.
Some recipes are specific to a certain rarity of target item: if the ingredients do not match the recipe, consider using a currency orb first such as the Orb of Transmutation to make the item into magic rarity.

====Rerolling==== | |||
A unique item can have its modifiers rerolled by vendoring it along with two more of the same unique item. The result is comparable to using a Divine Orb and a Blessed Orb.

| The unique items used as recipe components must not only have the same name, but also be of the same unique item variant; if they can generate with variable explicit modifier, all modifiers must be the same between the three items. The resulting item will be of the same variant as the components. This rule also applies to legacy variants. | |||
The resulting unique item will have its natural implicit modifier, if any. As of version 3.23.0d, unique synthesised item instead return a synthesised unique item with randomised synthesised implicit modifiers instead. Synthesis "Circle" Rings also require that they have the same random explicit modifiers.

==Direct Purchases from Vendors==
| |||
Most orbs are purchasable from vendors, and can thus be ranked like coins in normal currency. There are several progression tables below showing who sells what and what their equivalent value is in measurable orbs. Instead of using the sell window, players must click "Purchase Items" when talking to a vendor. These are not technically recipes, but are included here for convenience.

===Comparison with player market===
The set vendor prices restrict the possible exchange rates in the player market; for example, a Chromatic Orb will never be worth more than 3x Jeweller's Orb on the player market. However, this holds only in one direction; for example, 3x Jeweller's Orb are worth much more than a Chromatic Orb on the player market. Generally, only the vendor rates of 2x Orb of Alteration : Jeweller's Orb and 4x Jeweller's Orb : Orb of Fusing are even close to the player market values.

===Items=== | |||
==Quality Items== | |||
These recipes produce currency items that improve the quality of their category of items. To produce the currency requires either one of the following:
*A single normal item (not magic, rare, etc.) of that category with 20% quality;
*Several items (any rarity) of that category with a total of at least 40% quality.
When done for multiple instances of the recipe at once, each individual combination must add up to 40%. For example: 6 items of 19%, 13%, 15%, 9%, 17% and 7% quality would add up to 80%, but would not actually grant 2 of the resulting quality items, only 1. This is because the 2 individual combinations do not add up to 40 each.

===Full Rare Sets=== | |||
These recipes require a full set of rare items. A full set is capable of filling all item slots in the inventory screen (not including flasks, the alternate weapon set, or a quiver). Specifically, it consists of:

*If a rare item below item level 75 is added to a Regal Orb recipe then the recipe will change to a Chaos Orb recipe.
*Belts, Amulets, and Rings appear to always be seen as 20% quality for this recipe as they do not have any basic quality. As such, they do not require the use of Catalysts.
*In Crucible League (v3.21), advancing a weapon's passive skill tree in a crucible event will make that weapon invalid for use in this recipe.

Revision as of 06:05, 22 May 2024
The vendor recipe system allows the player to sell items to any town vendor in exchange for a multitude of currency items and equipment.
Equipment
Unless otherwise stated, the item level and rarity of the item produced are both equal to the lowest item level and rarity among all items required for the recipe.

Crafting
The following vendor recipes allow you to craft existing items (see also: crafting), by adding a specific modifier that you need.
All recipes of this type create a new base item (with randomized base defences) and will remove enchantments, Fractured modifiers, Eldritch implicits, and Synthesised implicits on the resultant item.
Some recipes are specific to a certain rarity of target item: if the ingredients do not match the recipe, consider using a currency orb first such as the Orb of Transmutation to make the item into Magic rarity.

The resulting Coral Amulet will have the same item level as the Coral Ring; the item level of the Iron Rings is irrelevant. For the Iron Rings the 5-to-1 recipe for an unidentified magic or rare Iron Ring takes precedence over this recipe, so 4 magic and 3 rare rings (or vice versa) must be used. Recipe produces a shaper coral amulet if all used rings are shaped. |

1x Onyx AmuletOnyx AmuletRequires Level 20+(10-16) to all Attributes (normal) | This works even if the input amulet is corrupted. The resulting Onyx Amulet will not be corrupted, and any influence present on the input amulet will persist to the resulting Onyx Amulet. This can be used along with the Locus of Corruption in Incursion, which has a 25% chance of changing the sacrificed item into a corrupted influenced rare. If used on an amulet, it can then be traded to a vendor using this recipe to obtain an uncorrupted Onyx Amulet with the same influence.

Rerolling
A unique item can have its modifiers rerolled by vendoring it along with two more of the same unique item. The result is comparable to using a Divine OrbDivine OrbStack Size: 20Randomises the values of the random modifiers on an itemRight click this item then left click a magic, rare or unique item to apply it. and a Blessed OrbBlessed OrbStack Size: 20Randomises the values of the implicit modifiers of an itemRight click this item then left click another item to apply it..

1x unique item | 3x unique item (same name, not corrupted) | The unique items used as recipe components must not only have the same name, but also be of the same unique item variant; if they can generate with variable explicit modifier, all modifiers must be the same between the three items.

Direct Purchases from Vendors
It has been suggested that this section be merged into Vendor.
Reason: This section is about the prices of items offered for sale by vendors. It does not pertain to the vendor recipe system
Proposed since April 16, 2023
Most orbs are purchasable from vendors, and can thus be ranked like coins in normal currency. There are several progression tables below showing who sells what and what their equivalent value is in measurable orbs. Instead of using the sell window, players must click "Purchase Items" when talking to a vendor. These are not technically recipes, but are included here for convenience.

Quality Items
These recipes produce currency items that improve the quality of their category of items. To produce the currency requires either one of the following:
- A single normal item (not magic, rare, etc.) of that category with 20% quality;
- Several items (any rarity) of that category with a total of at least 40% quality.

Full Rare Sets
These recipes require a full set of rare items. A full set is capable of filling all item slots in the inventory screen (not including flasks, the alternate weapon set, or a quiver). Specifically, it consists of:
- One of the following:
- 1x Two-Handed Weapon (including bows, quiver not required)
- 1x One-Handed Weapon and 1x Shield
- 2x One-Handed Weapon
- 2x Shield
The type of currency produced depends on the item with the lowest item level in the set, and the quantity on whether they are all unidentified and/or 20% quality:

- If a rare item below item level 60 is added to a Chaos Orb recipe then the recipe will change to an Orb of Chance recipe.
- If a rare item below item level 75 is added to a Regal Orb recipe then the recipe will change to a Chaos Orb recipe.
- Belts, Amulets, and Rings appear to always be seen as 20% quality for this recipe as they do not have any basic quality. As such, they do not require the use of Catalysts.
- In Crucible League (v3.21), advancing a weapon's passive skill tree in a crucible event will make that weapon invalid for use in this recipe.
