An Eternal Orb creates an imprint of an item that can later be used to revert the item to the imprinted state. This is useful for advanced crafting techniques, where the player is looking for a specific modifier but doesn't want to alter the modifiers that the item already has. Shift click to unstack., the Eternal Orb does work on unique items. An Eternal Orb will not restore an imprint on a corrupted or mirrored item, since these can't be altered by currency in any way.

3.14.0	Splitting an item through Beast-crafting or a Fractured Fossil now applies a 'Split' tag to both items. Split items cannot be split again, and cannot have Imprints made of them or applied to them. Watchstones that don't have sextant modifiers applied to them can be imprinted once again.
