A vendor is an NPC in any of the main towns across 10 Acts. They offer items with item level one higher than the players' current level, up to a cap. The player may also sell items to a vendor; the items the player gets in return is determined by vendor recipes.

Overview

Vendors are split into three primary categories: One that sells most weapons, armour, and quality-related currency, one that sells currency, wands, flasks, jewellery, and gems, and one that offers Respecialisation and Gambling for gold. Each town will have these vendors.

Each time the character levels up, some new items are added to vendors' shops, while some old items are rotated out.

Vendors also offer services that costs GoldGoldStack Size: 50000Can be spent at Vendors: Respecialisation and Gambling.

Respecialisation

Respecialisation allows the player to spend Gold to refund passive skill points. The amount of Gold required to refund a point increases with the number of passive points allocated into the tree. Ascendancy passive skills cost ten times as much more Gold to refund.

Gambling

Players can spend Gold to obtain a random rarity item from a vendor. The player can choose the item's equipment type and attribute requirement; the specific base type, rarity, and stats of the item are hidden until the item is purchased. Items obtained this way will tend to have "better" mods than normal (inclination towards higher tier mods).

Most orbs are purchasable from vendors, and can thus be ranked like coins in normal currency. There are several progression tables below showing who sells what and what their equivalent value is in measurable orbs. Acts 1 and 2 have limited selection but from Act 3 onward, all items are available for purchase
