The Orb of Annulment is a currency item that can be used to remove a random modifier from a magic or rare item.

Mechanics

Orbs of Annulment are used in item crafting, and are typically used to remove undesirable modifiers from otherwise powerful items. Since the removed modifier is chosen randomly, this can often bear great risk of bricking the item. Orbs of Annulment respect metamods, including Cannot roll Caster/Attack Modifiers.

Unlike Orb of Scouring, Orbs of Annulment never downgrade rarity.

Orb of Annulment can drop anywhere. Drops from Harbingers or Harbinger-related rewards.
