Craicic Chimeral's Imprint can be used in crafting to revert a bad modifier added by a {{il|Regal Orb}} or even an {{il|Exalted Orb}}, to the original 1-2 mods state. This is usually only profitable on specific combinations of expensive mods on magic items, such as legacy mods, drop only mods on a good base, or mods that have very low spawn weights such that rerolling the mod with {{il|Orb of Alteration}} is much more expensive and time consuming than the cost of a Craicic Chimeral.

Craicic Chimeral is a gem frog type Bestiary monster. It always appears as a capturable red beast and rare monster. It can be captured by the player with the help of Einhar.

Usage

  • Beastcrafting recipes:
    • Create an ImprintImprintRestores an imprinted item onto the original
Can't be applied to Fractured Items
Right click this item then left click on the imprinted original item to restore its modifiers. An imprint cannot be dropped or traded to other players.
      of a Magic item
    • Apply a Hinekora's LockHinekora's LockStack Size: 10Allows an item to foresee the result of the next Currency item used on it
Modifying the item in any way removes the ability to foresee
Right click this item then left click an item to apply it.
on a Magic item (also needs The Black Mórrígan)

Mechanics

The Craicic Chimeral imprint recipe cannot be used on Fractured items, and an imprint obtained of a non-fractured item cannot be used on that item if it becomes fractured at a later time. Imprints made on an item without a Split modifier cannot be used on that item if it gains the split tag at a later time, but if the imprint is made of an item with the Split modifier, that imprint can be used.

Craicic Chimeral's Imprint can be used in crafting to revert a bad modifier added by a Regal OrbRegal OrbStack Size: 20Upgrades a magic item to a rare itemRight click this item then left click a magic item to apply it. Current modifiers are retained and a new one is added. or even an Exalted OrbExalted OrbStack Size: 20Augments a rare item with a new random modifierRight click this item then left click a rare item to apply it. Rare items can have up to six random modifiers., to the original 1-2 mods state. This is usually only profitable on specific combinations of expensive mods on magic items, such as legacy mods, drop only mods on a good base, or mods that have very low spawn weights such that rerolling the mod with Orb of AlterationOrb of AlterationStack Size: 20Reforges a magic item with new random modifiersRight click this item then left click a magic item to apply it. is much more expensive and time consuming than the cost of a Craicic Chimeral.

Item acquisition

According to game data, the minimum area level to find Craicic Chimeral was 68 during Bestiary league.[1]. The beast can still only appear in maps of area level 68 and higher.

Atlas passive skill The Hunt for Craiceann increases the chance to spawn beasts from the Deep family.

Classification

Classification of Craicic Chimeral in the Bestiary:

Trivia

Despite Craicic Chimeral being called "Chimeral", it does not look like one, nor is it classified as Chimeral in the Bestiary. In fact, Chimeric Croaker, which Craicic Chimeral's 3D model is based on, was called "Croaking Chimeral". Croaking Chimeral was renamed into Chimeric Croaker in version 3.2.0, the same patch that released Bestiary league. However, for some reason Craicic Chimeral was not named "Craicic Croaker".

The monster is in the cage of Croakers in Menagerie Depths. However, in the Bestiary the genus is known as "Gem Frog".

Since it is from The Deep family, Craicic LureCraicic LureArea contains Einhar
