Humanoid is one of the categories of monster type, and is a property held by many monsters.

Humanoid monsters have an inbuilt chance to flee if ignited and on low life.[confirmation needed because of 3.14 change when is counted as LL (from 35% to 50%)]

Monster types with the humanoid property:

Maps with the BipedalBipedal
13% increased Quantity of Items found in this Area
8% increased Rarity of Items found in this Area
5% increased Pack size
Area is inhabited by Humanoids
prefix contain only monsters of these types, plus their signature monsters.

Note that some demon and undead are humanoid/human-looking, but not counted as humanoid for the purpose of trigging the fleeing behaviour, as well as other property that tied to humanoid .

Version history

Version Changes
  • Rather than always fleeing, Humanoids and Blood Chieftains now flee if they are ignited while on low life.
  • Modified the set of monsters that flee due to being ignited so that it is only humanoids, monkeys and Sea Witches.
