Dialogues

You hear a lot of things when you spend enough time at one job. The sort of things someone like you might get some use out of. Only, there's is no bloody way I'm telling you anything if you're just going to slice me to bits.

You should have given them the Redmane treatment. Make a statement! So what do you want from me?

If it's information you're after, there is no one better to converse with than Leo Redmane. I've befriended all of my comrades-in-arms, and I can tell you all about their roles and fighting strategies... if you'll spare me a certain amount of pain in exchange.

Safehouse rewards

This list may be incomplete. Feel free to improve.

Items with Leo's signature veiled modifiers are dropped from Leo himself. Unveiling the modifiers would also unlock the modifiers as a craftable modifiers by using the Crafting Bench.

Legacy mods

Since version 3.6.0, Leo's signature mods have been re-tiered, from 4 tiers to 3. These generation 1 (Betrayal league only) legacy crafted mods can only be found in items in permanent leagues: No results found

The lowest tier of the 2nd generation craftable mods, introduced in 3.6.0, is retired since version 3.14.0:

On top of that, the original 2nd generation craftable T1 and T2 has numeric value nerfed from (17-20)% to (15-17)% and from (14-16)% to (12-14)%

Version history

Version Changes
3.17.0
  • Leo's Betrayal Transportation Safehouse rewards are now Catalysts, and his Intervention rewards are now Metamorph Scarabs, with Torment Scarabs now being Aislings reward.
3.14.0
  • We have improved the Betrayal reward system so that slaying the Mastermind is more worthwhile. Now, if the Mastermind is slain, her Immortal Syndicate Members drop their rewards at one tier higher than their current tier. This change introduces a fourth tier of reward from each member, and gives more reason to use a larger variety of Syndicate targets and safehouse leaders. Some of the best existing rewards have been moved to the fourth tier. We've also improved some of the less-interesting or less-valuable rewards.
  • Modifiers that are unveiled through Jun are now more powerful than before. Previously, when an item was unveiled, the veiled modifier added to the item would be equal to the highest tier modifier available on the Crafting Bench. Now, the modifier being unveiled no longer counts as a crafted modifier and will be stronger than any craftable veiled modifier.
  • Betrayal targets are now more likely to drop veiled items with their signature modifiers.
  • Polished and Gilded Scarabs can now be obtained as a rare drop when Bargaining during a Betrayal encounter.
  • Scarabs can no longer be obtained from Bargaining in Areas under level 68.
  • The following craftable veiled modifiers have been adjusted. Please note that only the highest tier of craftable modifiers have been listed - lower tiers of these modifiers have also been adjusted in similar ways:
3.9.0
  • Monster resistances throughout the game have been reviewed and made more consistent. In many cases this has resulted in more resistances on monsters.
3.6.0
  • Bosses which previously had 60% or 80% less effect of curses on them now have 33% or 66% less effect of curses on them respectively. This includes map bosses, Incursion architects, Betrayal targets, Breachlords, Shaper, Elder and others.
  • In 3.6.0, Jun is introduced in Highgate in Act 9.[1] Thus, Leo can be encountered from Act 9 onwards.
3.5.0
