Not to be confused with Damage taken as.
Damage taken refers to the amount of damage taken after all mitigations have taken place.[1] It is a synonym of 'damage dealt', but from a defending standpoint.
Mechanics
Damage taken value is a result after all mitigation calculations has taken place on the defender side. However, it can be further altered by modifiers that explicitly affect Damage taken or Damage dealt.[citation needed]
