Pyroclast Mine throws a mine that when detonated fires multiple mortar projectiles that deal fire damage where they land, launching more projectiles with more consecutive mines detonated. The mines have an aura which grants added fire damage with hits against enemies in the aura.

Skill functions and interactions

• The innate aura effect of this skill (Each Mine Adds # to # Fire Damage to Hits against Enemies near it, up to a maximum of # to #) has a base radius distance of 35 units and are scaled by modifiers to area, including those specific to auras. Increased aura effect will improve the bonus per mine near an enemy, but will not affect the maximum bonus.
• Pyroclast mine can hit multiple times with a single mine. Once for the initial explosion of the mine, then by overlapping explosions from projectiles. Detonating additional mines in sequence also increases the number of projectiles.

Some of the legacy enchantments have identical mod text with the current variants. It is either due to the enchantments were for Fire Nova Mine which converted to for Pyroclast Mine, or GGG retired Pyroclast Mine fires 2 additional Projectiles so that the +1 Projectile enchantment have new required level requirement as it is from Eternal Labyrinth (uber lab). Except Pyroclast Mine fires 2 additional Projectiles, all of those that have identical mod text should behave the same as the current variant in-game, except having different internal mod ids or required level.

Note that due to the legacy enchantments Pyroclast Mine has #% increased Throwing Speed are converted from the old enchantments that were for Fire Nova Mine, there is a separate item filter in the official trade site.

3.8.0	Fire Nova Mine (now named Pyroclast Mine) Has been completely reworked, and is now a blue gem with minimum level 28. Deals 26 to 39 Fire Damage at gem level 1, up to 240 to 361 at gem level 20. Base mine detonation time is 0.35 seconds. Fire 2 additional projectiles at all gem levels. Fires an additional projectile for every 2 prior Mines in Detonation Sequence. Each mine applies 1 to 2 fire damage to hits against enemies near it, up to a maximum of 64 to 96 at gem level 1. By gem level 20, each mine applies 12 to 18 fire damage, up to a maximum of 601 to 901.
