Flesh and Stone is an aura that activates Blood and Sand Stance. In Blood Stance (Flesh), enemies in the aura take more physical damage from hits, and in Sand Stance (Stone), enemies in the aura deal less damage. The effect of the aura is stronger the closer they are to the center, decreasing with distance.

Activating the skill while it's toggled on will alternate between stances. Certain skills also behave differently based on the stance you are currently in.

Nearby: Enemies within 1.5 metres of the user receive the full effect, then scales linearly down to 0 at the edge of the area. Increase the aura's radius only affects the edge of the area and does not affect the 1.5 metre distance for maximum effect. Increase the aura radius does affect the interpolation between the two circles, however.[1]

Aura effect: Aura effect will scale the Nearby Enemies take up to 10% more Physical Damage from Hits while in Blood Stance stat, but not Take up to 10% less Damage from Nearby Enemies while in Sand Stance; the 10% less Damage taken is a property of a buff granted by the aura, rather than the aura itself. However, it can be affected by IchimonjiIchimonji

  • No longer causes Nearby Enemies to be Blinded while in Sand Stance, or causes you to take less Damage from Attacks from Enemies that aren't nearby while in Sand Stance. It also no longer causes Nearby Enemies to be Maimed while in Blood Stance, and no longer causes Enemies Maimed by this Skill to take increased Physical Damage. It now has "Nearby Enemies take up to 10% more Physical Damage from Hits while in Blood Stance" at gem level 1, scaling up to 20% at gem level 20, and "Take up to 10% less Damage from Nearby Enemies while in Sand Stance" at gem level 1, scaling up to 19% at gem level 20.
