Flesh and Stone is an aura that activates Blood and Sand Stance. In Blood Stance (Flesh), the aura maims nearby enemies while increasing the physical damage they take. In Sand Stance (Stone), the aura blinds enemies in radius and grants the user damage reduction against enemies outside the aura. Activating the skill while it's toggled on will alternate between stances. Certain skills also behave differently based on the stance you are currently in.

The blind from the Sand Stance has its own blind visual effect on enemies (appearing as a cloud of sand on their heads). It is also affected by sources of blind effect[1], such as from the passive tree, and enemies affected will be considered blinded as normal for the purposes of effects like bonus damage against blinded enemies.
The cooldown recovery rate from gem quality only affects the cooldown for toggling between blood and sand stance.
