Chilled Ground is a detrimental ground effect that inflicts chill. It affects all actions, effectively being multiplicative with cast speeds, attack speeds and movement speeds since chill is affecting the enemy's animations themselves.[1] Unless otherwise specified chilled ground slows for 10%. Since version 3.9.0, the magnitude of chilled ground from map mods are 10%/20%/30% dependent on map tier. The actual magnitude of chill will be shown in the status icon, once the player character has stepped on the Chilled Ground and affected by it.
Chilled ground created by a player are affected by modifiers to the effect of cold and/or non-damaging ailments, including from the player's stats and support gems. The ground effect shared the same graphic icon with chilled ailment, Fearful debuff and Snow Cloak buff. The descriptive texts are not the same however.
