General's Cry is a warcry skill that taunts nearby enemies, and summons a number of mirage warriors from nearby corpses based on the power of nearby enemies and corpses. Mirage warriors perform one linked attack skill, then disappear.

The gem has two parts: the active General's Cry, and General's Cry Support, which supports melee attack skills and allows them to be used by the summoned mirages.

Skill functions and interactions

Power: Normal Monsters have 1 Power, Magic Monsters 2, Rare Monsters 10, Unique Monsters 20, and Players 5

Unlike other warcries, General's Cry counts the total Power of Enemies and Corpses in range. The power of the corpse is dependent on the rarity of the monster itself; created corpses always count as normal rarity.

Corpses: Only one mirage can be summoned per corpse, regardless of warcry power. Corpses may be created with DesecrateDesecrateSpell, AoE, Duration, Chaos

  • Mirage Warriors do not use the player's movement speed or action speed, and appear to gain no speed from gem level.
  • Mirage Warriors are unable to be damaged, and are ignored by enemies. They are allies, but not minions.
  • Mirage Warriors do not benefit from buffs on themselves; they use the player's skill, which has the player's stats.

Mirage Warrior Behavior:

  • Mirage Warriors do not spawn all at once when the player uses General's Cry. Instead, spawns are staggered - the first mirage spawns ~300ms after the cast and subsequent mirages spawn one by one with an interval of ~200ms. It is not currently possible to reduce this interval. Active Mirages will finish their attack and despawn when using General's Cry again.
  • Spawning Mirage Warriors does not consume the corpse the warrior was spawned from, removing the need to generate corpses while fighting in a static arena.
  • Mirage Warriors from General's Cry will follow the mouse where clicked if they do not have a target. When they have a target, they will move directly to their target, except in the case of Consecrated PathConsecrated PathFire, Attack, AoE, Movement, Duration, Slam, Melee

  • Mirage Warriors will disappear after one animation even with Fatal Flourish, preventing Repeats.[1]
  • When dual wielding, each Mirage Warrior will attack with a different weapon (or begin its attack with that weapon, in the case of channeling skills).
