Assassin's Mark is a spell that marks a single target with a curse. Hits against the marked target have added critical strike chance and multiplier. The marked target grants a power charge and life and mana recovery when killed.
Mark: Only one mark (regardless of source) can be active at all times. Increasing the curse limit will allow you to apply additional hexes on top of a mark, but will not let you apply additional marks on different targets or apply multiple marks on one target.

Some monster also curse the enemies with Assassin's Mark:
Alternate quality gems, labyrinth helmet enchantments and unique threshold jewels are all systems that were trying to subtly modify the behaviour of skills. With this expansion these have been combined into a new system called Transfigured Gems that allows us to fully achieve the goal of these three systems, and then some.
Anomalous, Divergent and Phantasmal Quality Gems have been removed from the game. Existing alternate Quality Gems now have the base Quality effect found on the respective Gem.
Assassin's Mark now has a level requirement of 16 at gem level 1 (previously 24).
Assassin's Mark is now offered to the Shadow for completing Intruders in Black, and can be purchased from Yeena by the Duelist, Ranger and Scion.
Assassin's Mark is no longer offered to the Shadow or Ranger for completing Lost in Love, and can no longer be purchased from Clarissa by the Duelist or Scion.

The Influence modifiers that Trigger a Mark when you Hit a Rare or Unique Enemy have been removed from the modifier pool, so they can no longer be obtained.
Enemies afflicted with Assassin's Mark will always grant a power charge and significant amount of life and mana when slain.
No longer causes cursed enemies to take increased extra damage from critical strikes.
Cursed enemies now have a 100% chance to grant a power charge when slain.
Hits against cursed enemies now have +1.5% to critical strike chance at all gem levels.
Hits against cursed enemies now have +30% to critical strike multiplier at gem level 1, up to +49% at gem level 20.
Cursed enemies now grant 65 life when killed at gem level 1, up to 600 at gem level 20.
Cursed enemies now grant 25 mana when killed at gem level 1, up to 80 at gem level 20.
Now causes cursed enemies to have a 1% chance to grant a power charge when hit per 4% gem quality (from 1% chance to grant a power charge when slain per 2% gem quality).
Added more than 800 Alternate-Quality variants of existing and new Support and Skill Gems.
