Alternate skill effect

Alternate skill effects are cosmetic items applied to skill gems that alter the visual and audio effects of the associated skills.

Most of them can be purchased via microtransactions. Some are obtained exclusively by completing a certain number of challenges in a challenge league.

Alternate skill effects for auras can also be applied to equipment that grant aura skills.
