Mechanics

Corrupting the gloves may grant one of the vaal implicit modifiers Curse Enemies with <Hex> on Hit in order to dual curse the enemy on hit. However, the player must find a way to increase the curse limit, such as Whispers of Doom or Cospri's WillCospri's Will

Assassin's Mark triggered by Oskarm has a cooldown of 0.5 seconds. It cannot apply Assassin's Mark if any monster in the area is currently already marked by you.[1]

Design attribution

Oskarm was created by ZenocideGenius on behalf of supporter Halicarnassus.[2][better source needed]

The name for this item was inspired by Zeno's cat Oscar. Oscar is a polydactyl cat, and the gloves have 6 finger slots mimicking Oscar's paw.

Version history

Oskarm historically had the modifier Curse Enemies with level 10 Assassin's Mark on Hit which allowed Animated Guardians to apply Assassin's Mark. However, during an undocumented change with the version 3.12.0 mark rework, this modifier was automatically updated to Trigger Level 10 Assassin's Mark when you Hit a Rare or Unique Enemy and have no Mark; Animate Guardian (and all minions) are unable to trigger skills from equipment and therefore cannot apply the current version of this mark.
