Map:Pen Map (War for the Atlas)

Pen Map (War for the Atlas) is a map area based on the tileset from The Slave Pens.

Layout

The map is a linear connection of corridors infrequently leading off to short dead ends. The boss has his own, large separate arena to fight in, with the entrance located at the end of the map.

Encounters

Arwyn, The Houndmaster, based on Overseer Krow.

It's a multi-stage fight - in the first stage the boss summons a pack of magic hounds after taking a certain amount of damage, then teleports away to another area. In the final stage, he summons a pack of hounds containing rares and two unique ones called Lola, the Fierce and Rocco, the Bloodthirsty.

His most dangerous skill is firing a burst of lightning missiles, all in one direction. It has a relatively short range, but deals extreme amounts of damage, likely to instantly kill most characters if hit by more than one missile.

The cooldown on the skill is only several seconds, which makes him very dangerous to approach for melee characters, while his fast movement speed and chaotic movement makes him a fairly difficult target for non-targeted ranged skills.

Combined with the large health pool of his hounds, it makes him arguably the most dangerous lower-tier boss and should be approached carefully.
