on the Map Device. It is the domain of the Molten One, a Titan willing to lend the power of his Crucible Forge to craft powerful weapons.
The Primeval Remnant opens a Level 80 version of the zone and contains a forge at the end that lets you sacrifice an item of the same item type to another to combine their Crucible Passive Skill Trees. The Primordial Remnant opens a Level 84 version of the zone with the forge that can also be used to combine two of the same unique items' passive trees and can be used with corrupted items. It can also contain a furnace that either lets you add a Crucible Passive Skill Tree to a unique item or remove a tree from a non-unique item.
The layout is one linear path with the forge at the end, as well as a furnace close to the end, and one short branching path containing environmental lore. Each enemy begins spawning when you get within range. The animation is lengthy, so it's possible to speed past the enemies and head straight to the forge (you do not need to kill any enemies to use it).
