The air is rich with despair and apparition.

The Lower Prison is an indoor area in Act 1. This area has a waypoint and is connected to The Climb and The Upper Prison.

The entrance/exit from/to the Climb spawns in the upper left and leads to a maze of cell rooms and cages.

The waypoint to the area is shown as The Prison in the World UI. (default PC keybind: U) The waypoint is located in a random room near to the entrance from Climb.

Quest

The Lord's Labyrinth (optional): The area contains a Trial of Ascendancy, which is a simplified version of the Trial of Piercing Truth. It is not required to redo this quest if the player has another character of the same league (except subleagues such as private league and events) has done it

Native monsters in this area can resist fire, lightning or cold. They deal physical, fire, lightning and cold damage.
