For the pinnacle version of this encounter, see Blight-ravaged map.
An example of a Tier-16 blighted map with 20% quality

Blighted maps are alternate versions of existing maps that contain a more challenging Blight encounter than is normally found on maps. These maps have all the native monsters removed and are dedicated to the Blight encounter.

The map will always have an alternative map icon, as well as these implicit modifiers:

  • Natural inhabitants of this area have been removed
    Area is infested with Fungal Growths
    Map's Item Quantity Modifiers also affect Blight Chest count at 25% value
    Can be Anointed up to 3 times

Item acquisition

Blight icon chests from completing Blight encounters in maps have a chance to drop a Blighted version of a map. Blighted map drops are not affected by Cartography Scarabs.Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag }}
