The Abyssal Depths are a side area accessible from Abysses.

Abysses may spawn a portal to the Abyssal Depths instead of an Abyssal Trove. The Depths are a relatively large area of winding passageways that contain a high number of normal to rare enemies as well as Hoards.
Abysses in areas of area level 78+ may rarely spawn a portal to the Abyssal Depths at its fourth pit instead of generating an Abyssal Trove or Stygian Spire. The Abyssal Depths is a mostly linear subterranean area that contains several Abyssal monsters as well as Hoards, which often drop Abyss jewels.

The areas have a few internal id: AbyssLeague, AbyssLeague2 as well as AbyssLeagueBoss to AbyssLeagueBoss2. Notably, the Abyss Boss loading screens display the Map Device instead of the usual Coast loading screen, allowing the player to identify if a Lich has spawned. Additionally, layouts with a Lich arena are linear and do not loop around.

While AbyssLeagueBoss3 apparently an internal testing area or area that cut from the public version of Abyss league.

Abyssal Depths are always one are level higher than the zone it is connected to. The maximum natural area level (without the effect of atlas passive skill) is 84, which a T16 map (area level 83) can potentially generate an area level 84 Abyssal Depths. With the Lightless Legion Notable allocated on the Atlas passive skill tree, this can go up to area level 87.
Abyssal Depths, like other external areas, are always the same area level as the zone it is connected to. The minimum area level is 78 and the maximum natural area level is 84, accessed through a T17 map (area level 84).

Boss
Bosess
The boss, situated in a separate arena, is ordinarily the Stygian Spire. This stationary totem continually summons enemies, including rares, and must be defeated in 80 seconds. If this timer expires, the boss despawns. It will always drop an Stygian Vise on death.
Abyssal Depths always contain one of two Abyssal Liches. Each time the Lich loses 25% of its life, it disappears and a timer of 1 minute and 30 seconds appears. The player must enter a smaller sub-arena to kill the Stygian Spire inside and then return to the Lich's arena. The timer does not reset between Spire fights, but it is halted once each Spire has been defeated. The players must kill all three Spires in the time provided, or the encounter will end.

Abyssal Liches
Liches are guaranteed to drop a Stygian Vise and can randomly drop Unique Abyss jewels or one of five Abyss socket-themed Uniques; some items can have a variable roll of Abyss sockets.
In rare cases, an Abyssal Lich may spawn as the boss instead, and provide an extended boss fight. At three points in the fight, the Lich disappears and a timer of 1 minute and 30 seconds appears. Players must move to a side area to find and kill the Stygian Spire there and then return to the Lich's arena. The timer does not reset between Spire fights, but it is halted once each Spire has been defeated. This means that players must kill all three Spires in the time provided.

Abyssal Liches can only be encountered in Tier 3 maps or higher.
The boss spawned depends on the area ID generated: AbyssLeagueBoss contains Ulaman and AbyssLeagueBoss2 contains Amanamu.

The Liches include:
Ulaman, Sovereign of the Well
*Ulaman, Sovereign of the Well: He attacks with chaos and physical attacks, disappearing on occasion to summon hordes of abyssal enemies.
Ulaman attacks with a slow Flicker Strike attack that fires projectiles and recovers life, and can disappear to summon monsters. For more information, visit their page.
*Amanamu, Liege of the Lightless: He occasionally summons stationary Stygian Hearts that must be destroyed to make the Lich vulnerable again.

Liches are guaranteed to drop a Stygian Vise and one of four Abyss Socket themed Uniques with either 1 or 2 Abyss Sockets. The boss may sometimes drop two Uniques.
Amanamu, Liege of the Lightless
Amanamu occasionally summons stationary Stygian Hearts and fires shards or creates explosive crystals; Amanamu becomes immune to damage if more than two Stygian Hearts are alive at once. For more information, visit their page.

For Delve biome, see Abyssal Depths (Delve).

The Abyssal Depths are a side area accessible from Abysses.

Abyssal Depths, like other external areas, are always the same area level as the zone it is connected to. The minimum area level is 78 and the maximum natural area level is 84, accessed through a T17 map (area level 84).

Bosess

Abyssal Depths always contain one of two Abyssal Liches. Each time the Lich loses 25% of its life, it disappears and a timer of 1 minute and 30 seconds appears. The timer does not reset between Spire fights, but it is halted once each Spire has been defeated. The players must kill all three Spires in the time provided, or the encounter will end.

Liches are guaranteed to drop a Stygian ViseStygian ViseHas 1 Abyssal Socket and can randomly drop Unique Abyss jewels or one of five Abyss socket-themed Uniques; some items can have a variable roll of Abyss sockets.

The boss spawned depends on the area ID generated: AbyssLeagueBoss contains Ulaman and AbyssLeagueBoss2 contains Amanamu.
