Sirus, Awakener of Worlds is the main antagonist of the Conquerors of the Atlas expansion. He acts as the final boss of the Atlas of Worlds, and the leader of the other conquerors: Al-Hezmin, the Hunter, Baran, the Crusader, Drox, the Warlord and Veritania, the Redeemer.

Lore

From Zana:

No...Sirus is still alive? Gods, I thought he was dead! He took the brunt of the energy released when we sealed the Elder. How did he survive?

Sirus was the leader of the group of Exiles I recruited. Brilliant and determined, and a force to be reckoned with even before we travelled the Atlas together. We... grew close. I was distraught when he vanished with the Elder. At first i thought the other Exiles were looking for him as I was, but perhaps they knew he was still alive...

I have a terrible feeling that Sirus may be tied to the madness of the others. Or perhaps he is just as mad as they are. We need to find and stop him -- if the others are looking for a way out, I'm certain he is too.

Abilities

Sirus's arena contains multiple huge Deatomization Storms, which deal massive physical damage over time to anything touching them. Around Sirus is a circle which indicates a safety zone which pushes out the storms.

  • Default attack - fires a ranged beam forward. It has a delay and can be sidestepped.
  • Corridor Blast - creates impassable walls to the left and right of the player, then fires a projectile between them. It can be avoided by either dodging through the projectile or running to the end of the corridor and around the walls (not recommended). It can also be interrupted by moving through and behind Sirus before he fires the projectile.
  • Meteor Maze - create a circular maze that traps the player. The player must move away from the center before Sirus, damaging the player. Red flares along the maze indicate exits for each layer. Sirus creates more layers at later phases.
  • Hyper Beam Volley - charges up, then fires multiple larger beam in front of him, dealing random elemental damage. In later phases, the attack has some sideways tracking.
  • Illusion Hyper Beam (final phase) - splits into multiple illusions in a circle, then the real Sirus fires a huge beam directly at the player. He will always do a teleport then fire a Hyper Beam Volley after this move.
  • Spinning Negation Beams (final phase) - creates 3 illusions, which all fire a beam at the center that spawns a core that fires rotating beams that lasts a couple of seconds. The beams deal damage over time and apply Corrupting Blood. The real Sirus will flash blue briefly before creating the beams. When the core expires, it leaves behind a small degen field that deals damage over time, negates life leech, reduces maximum resistances, and applies a powerful Shock effect.
  • Deatomization Storm - When Sirus gets below a certain Health threshold (75%, 50%, 25%), Sirus will go invulnerable, give flask charges, despawns the safety zone and creates a tracking storm. To transition to his next phase, the player must lure the storm away from Sirus far enough (until the storm no longer covers him), then go around the storm and back to Sirus. When you are successful, he will create a safety zone which pushes out the storms.
    • He will also use this move if you step out of the safety zone for too long.

Sirus will also have his projection attack the player occasionally (except in his last phase).

  • Converging Beams - Fires two beams towards its sides, which converge towards the center. It creates a huge explosion at the center if you're not in the safety zone.
  • Meteor Strike - Launches four meteors that land and deal AoE damage after a delay. The ground will flare up before they land. Launches many more meteors if you are not in the safety zone.
  • Meteor Geysers - Creates multiple geysers that deal damage over time. Creates many more geysers if you are not in the safety zone.
