Veritania, the Redeemer is one of the Conquerors of the Atlas of Worlds. She is an optional sub-boss and one of the targets of Maven's Invitation: The Elderslayers.

Items influenced by the Redeemer have a red icon on their header and have unique Redeemer modifiers. Maps influenced by the Redeemer also have this icon on top of the map art.

Item Quantity increases amount of Rewards Veritania drops by 20% of its value implicit. This map is also offered by Kirac as an Atlas mission or via his vendor shop. Conqueror Maps can drop randomly after defeating map bosses, and the drop rate can be enhanced by atlas passive skill Conquered Conquerors. Defeating the regular map boss will open a portal to the Conqueror's arena. Vaal charges will be carried over to the arena, as Redeemer's Eyrie is within the same map area instance.

Tips

• Veritania is notable for dealing a high amount of Cold damage, and is also the only Conqueror to deal this type of damage.
• When Veritania begins casting a tornado, players must stay within the eye of the storm to survive
• Touching the edges of the tornado storm will result in high amounts of Cold damage taken and can be deadly.
• Staying close to Veritania and attacking her is the best strategy for this battle.
• Avoid rolling the Buffered - 13% increased Quantity of Items found in this Area, 8% increased Rarity of Items found in this Area, Monsters gain (40-49)% of Maximum Life as Extra Maximum Energy Shield (Prefix) mod, as the boss will recharge to full Energy Shield if the player fails to consecutively hit the boss or during immunity phases such as the Bullet Dive. This mod will significantly increase the effective health of the boss and is not recommended for builds with low damage.

Veritania, the Redeemer served as one of the end-game bosses of the Atlas during Conquerors of the Atlas and Echoes of the Atlas (3.9-3.16) expansions. Veritania's journals are clickable lore items dropped each time you defeat Veritania.

When I met her, Veritania was a paradox. She was quiet and reserved to the point of reclusiveness, yet she seemed to feel compelled to help others by a humanistic moral code she'd profess by the campfire. Before, she took care of the hungry, the down-on-their-luck, the homeless, the addicted, and the enslaved alike. She was, in fact, exiled for her charity work... helping one too many mistreated Maraketh or Karui made powerful people in Oriath very angry.

As we explored the Atlas, Veritania's mind became an invaluable resource. Thanks to her, we were able to stretch our limited resources farther than I could've possibly hoped, avoiding fruitless confrontations and conserving our strength for moments that mattered most. She'd see a bad situation coming sooner than anyone, and help steer us away from it.

But her mind, like the others, soon broke beneath the weight of the Atlas, and the once-merciful Veritania became contemptuous of all we encountered. It was impossible for anyone but Drox to meet her increasingly high standards. She broke away from the group not long after we left him. The last time I saw her, she accused me of using the mysteries of Atlas as a drug to distract myself from the loss of my father. After that barb, you can imagine I'm not too eager to see her again.

Version history

Version	Changes
3.17.0	After defeating Kitava, you will meet Commander Kirac in the Karui Shores and join his militia to safeguard the Atlas of Worlds. The Envoy will inform you that two Eldritch Horrors, The Searing Exarch and The Eater of Worlds, are approaching and will consume everything. The Conqueror and Awakener encounters can still be accessed. If you're lucky, Kirac may offer a Conqueror's Map! Awakened Gems no longer drop from Conquerors.
