The Eternal Laboratory

The Eternal Laboratory is a subarea of The Solaris Temple Level 2 in Act 3. It contains two pieces of environmental lore: the Reverie Device and Malachai's Journal.

It used to be a separate area instance, but it is removed in version 3.0.0.

Despite the layout of The Solaris Temple Level 2 in Act 3 and Act 8 is largely the same, this subarea is absent from Act 8 version. The door to the subarea is closed and not interactable.

It contains a crafting bench recipe to unlock.

3.0.0	The Reverie Device is no longer used as a Map Device, the new area is The Templar Laboratory. [Undocumented This change was not documented by any official sources. It was discovered through player testing or datamining.] The Eternal Laboratory was used to be accessible once you have completed the quests for Lady Dialla in Solaris Temple Level 2 in Act 3 on Merciless difficulty. You can then use a waypoint to get there. Zana, Master Cartographer was also found here after completing your first map.
1.0.0	The Eternal Laboratory has been visually revamped and is now present in the Solaris Temple. In Normal and Cruel difficulties, it contains lore.
0.10.0	The Eternal Laboratory is now available in Act Three rather than Act Two. You get access from Lady Dialla.
0.9.11	The Eternal Laboratory was added to the game.
