Backstreet Hideout is a hideout. It uses the Sarn tileset.

The hideout has 3 "rooms". Each room is a square courtyard in the style of The Slums, connected by stairs.

  • Introduced Guild Hideouts: Guild Hideouts feature a Map Device and Crafting Bench that can be used by all Guild Members. When in a party with fellow Guild Members, the party can all access the party leader's Map Portals from the Guild Hideout.
  • Guild Leaders can select which Hideout to use for their Guild Hideout from ones they have discovered throughout the game. Microtransaction Hideouts can also be purchased to be used for a Guild Hideout from donated Guild Points. Note: Microtransaction Hideouts purchased for Personal Hideouts do not grant the ability to use them as Guild Hideouts.
  • Hideout Decorations for Guild Hideouts can be purchased using donated Guild Points.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when loading hideout templates containing pets.

  • Added an option to prevent other players from using your Map Device portals.
  • If you have no reclaimable hideout decorations, the button which reclaims all hideout decorations is replaced with a button that instead resets your hideout to its default layout.
  • You can now instantly buy all decorations (that cost only Favour) that your hideout template needs, as long as you have unlocked them and have enough Favour to do so.
  • Improved the error messages displayed when there are problems importing a hideout template, including one that will specify how much more Favour you need to buy missing decorations.
  • Fixed a bug where, due to some changes in how terrain is generated, a number of hideout templates became invalidated. They should work now.
  • Fixed a bug where, very rarely, party members would create a new instance of your hideout when using the Visit Hideout button, and would thus close any open map portals in the existing hideout instance.

  • Overhauled the Hideout system: Hideouts, favour and decorations are now shared account-wide. You will now encounter Hideouts throughout the game after rescuing Helena in Act 2. Hideouts must be cleared of enemies before they can be claimed. You can now reclaim all your hideout decorations (except stashes, the waypoint and your crafting bench) with the click of a button, and even export your Hideout layout if you're particularly proud of your creation! Special map-only hideouts are waiting in the end-game, but are rare to stumble upon.
  • Hideouts are also no longer unlocked or improved through master grinding. Instead, Helena will help you unlock new hideouts found throughout the campaign and (very rarely) within the Atlas. Newly obtained hideouts are automatically at their maximum size and hold all masters without being upgraded.
