Action speed describes how fast skill is used and is calculated as uses per second. Next use of skill can be performed after cast time end. Action speed describes the overall speed at which an actor (a character or monster) performs actions, such as moving, attacking, casting, placing totems, throwing traps, or using mines[1][2]. In passive tree actions speed are defined as movement speed, attack speed, cast speed, placement speed, throwing speed (mine throwing speed and trap throwing speed) and etc. Action speed can be considered a multiplier for stats that affect the speed of individual actions, though it does not directly modify those stats. Modifiers to action speed can be found under the Defense tab on the character's stat sheet, but it is only visible when it is modified in some way.
Calculating enemy Action Speed Math - Action speed reduction on enemies counts as a "Less" modifier[3]. This means that each individual action speed modifier is multiplied separately rather than added together before being multiplied. Example - 30% Chill, 40% glimpse of eternity, 25% temporal chains. Minus each slow effect from 100% separately then multiply all answers separately from 100%. (100 - 30 = 70%) (100 - 40 = 60%) (100 - 25 = 75%) (100 * .60% = 60%) (60 * .75% = 45%) (45 * .70% = 32%) At 32% enemy action speed everything the enemy does will take 3 times as long to do. If you have trouble seeing boss attacks that one shot you, this will make them easier to see and get away from.
