Fingers of Frost is a notable passive skill that grants chance to Freeze against enemies that are Chilled, and causes Frozen debuffs to inflict a 30% Chilled debuff on removal.

Mechanics

Enemies Become Chilled as they Unfreeze, causing 30% reduced Action Speed:

  • The base magnitude of 30% can be scaled with increases to ailment effect, if the maximum is higher due to Shaper of Winter.
  • The chill originates from the creator of the freeze debuff. It is not inflicted by a specific skill: it cannot apply stats from Bonechill SupportBonechill SupportCold, Support

    This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Skill Gem you wish to augment. Right click to remove from a socket.
    , is not prevented by skills that cannot chill, and does not inherit the player's chill-related stats when caused by freeze from proxies.
  • Because elemental ailments are removed if they could never become active, Freezing a Frozen enemy will normally remove one of the Frozen debuffs, causing it to chill.
