Eye of the Storm is the name of the map area of Sirus, Awakener of Worlds. After defeating 4 Conquerors, Zana will offer an option to open 6 portals to the area.

NPC

Unlike The Elder or The Shaper encounters, Zana would not provide any form of skill to assist the player character and the area did not contain any monster other than the boss.

Layout

The ladder of the final sub-area

The area is divided into 3 sub-areas. The first sub-area is similar to The Cathedral Rooftop (Act 10) and the second sub-area is identical to The Templar Laboratory. The final sub-area is almost identical to the Epilogue town Oriath, which all combat is carried in the final sub-area.

Notable different from town version of Oriath is the ladder section of the area has modified. The player character can walk though the derbies on the ladder. Even Sirus cast his Meteor Maze skill on the ladder, you can still able to escape the maze.

The area level is scale with the Awakening level of the Atlas, which in turn calculated by number of socketed Watchstones divided by 4, and then round down to the nearest integer.

Awakening level Area level N of socketed Watchstones
0-5 81 0-23
6 82 24-27
7 83 28-31
8 84 32

Deatomization Storms

The final sub-area of the map is full of Deatomization Storms as environmental hazard. The storms move in a fixed pattern. Upon entering, the storms would apply debuffs to the player character. The boss would also cast a storm as an ending skill of a boss phase.

Version history

Version Changes
3.10.1d
  • Sirus, Awakener of Worlds will now be more aware of where Deatomisation Storms are and will no longer cast his Meteor or Corridor skills if he is near one.
3.9.2
  • The Awakener has been decreased to level 81 from 84 at Awakening levels 1 to 5, increasing by one for each additional Awakening level. He is still level 84 at Awakening level 8, and this only affects the item levels of his drops.
  • Prevented the storms in The Awakener fight from being able to occupy the space near the arena entrance, so you no longer can enter and be inside a storm.
  • Changed the behaviour of the storms so they no longer pursue the player or their minions. Instead they more organically maneuvere the arena in a way that should cause more openings to travel around freely while still applying some limitation.
3.9.1
  • The final Conqueror of the Atlas no longer has blocking during their Meteor Maze ability, so they cannot prevent you from escaping the Maze.
3.9.0
  • Introduced to the game.
