Note that helmet enchantments are no longer obtainable since version 3.23.0 and can only be obtained in permanent leagues as already enchanted items from before this patch.
Improved the behaviour of some travel skills when repeated through Echoing Shrine or the Echoist modifier gained by killing monsters. Flame Dash, Whirling Blades and Dash now repeat in the same direction as the initial use. Shield Charge is now able to repeat, though only the larger area attack performed upon reaching your target is repeated. Attacking in place with Leap Slam now repeats in the same direction as the initial use.
Shield Charge now has a base Attack Time of 0.5 seconds at all gem levels (previously 0.53-0.47 seconds).
Now has 3 to 4 Added Physical Damage per 15 Armour or Evasion Rating on Shield at gem level 1 (unchanged), up to 5 to 7 at gem level 20 (previously 4 to 6).
Now deals 12 to 18 Base Off Hand Physical Damage at gem level 1 (previously 16 to 25), up to 134 to 200 at gem level 20 (previously 350 to 525).

Now deals damage based on your equipped shield, not your weapon. Here's how it does it:
Base off hand critical strike chance is 5%.
Adds 0.1% to critical strike chance per 10 maximum energy shield on shield.
Deals 11 to 17 base off hand physical damage at gem level 1, up to 132 to 198 at gem level 20.
Adds 2 to 3 physical damage per 15 armour or evasion rating on shield.
Base off hand attack time is 0.53 seconds at gem level 1, down to 0.48 seconds at gem level 20.
Now has three distinct sections—the start of the charge, the movement part of the charge, and the attack at the end of the charge. Your weapon's base attack time now affects the start and end, and movement speed and increases to global attack speed now affect the middle. Local attack speed modifiers no longer affect the middle movement part of the charge, whereas previously they would.
In other words, while using Brightbeak will cause the start and end of the charge to be quicker, it will not cause you to move from point A to point B any more quickly. For that, you need to invest in global attack speed and movement speed.
To help compensate for this loss in movement speed for most characters, Shield Charge now gains 1% increased movement speed as the gem levels up.

These have been combined into one modifier.
Shield Charge is now an Area of Effect skill. It deals damage to enemies you collide with as you charge, then deals a larger aoe at the end of the charge. It no longer always stuns. It gains more damage and stun threshold reduction the further you travel, up to a certain distance.

Shield Charge now provides no damage bonus if used at minimum range, because it's fast and doesn't miss. It still provides the same damage bonus at longer ranges.
The damage dealt by a Shield Charge is now proportional to the distance charged. Also increased Shield Charge damage and disabled it being usable with wands.
