Strangely familiar entity displayed before every wave of the Simulacrum
A Simulacrum taking place in Lioneye's Watch (Act 6), with monsters surrounding the player, and reward progress displayed on the bottom-left

Simulacrum is a map fragment obtained by combining 300 Simulacrum SplintersSimulacrum SplinterStack Size: 300Combine 300 Splinters to create a Simulacrum., which can be obtained from Delirium encounters.

Using Simulacrum will open 6 portals to Lunacy's Watch, The Bridge Enraptured, The Syndrome Encampment, Hysteriagate or Oriath Delusion.

The arena is based on one of the town zones, which include Lioneye's Watch (Act 6), The Bridge Encampment (Act 7), The Sarn Encampment (Act 8), Highgate (Act 4/9), or Oriath Docks (Act 10).

There are a total of 30 waves of enemies to defeat. Interacting with the Strangely Familiar Entity will summon the wave. Each wave increases the difficulty and rewards. Higher waves add additional monster modifiers and increases the level of Delirium. Once the entire wave of enemies is cleared, it will drop all the loot listed. A Stash is available in the zone, allowing you to transfer items between waves. Starting a new wave will destroy all items on the ground.

The Delirium bosses: Omniphobia, Fear Manifest can start spawning at wave 10 and is guaranteed to spawn at wave 15 if he doesn't spawn before, while Kosis, The Revelation can start spawning at wave 15 and is guaranteed to spawn at wave 20 if he doesn't spawn before.[1] Delirium Bosses have increased chance to spawn starting at wave 18[1] and even more common from wave 21; they can spawn several times per Simulacrum.

More than one unique can drop throughout the entire Simulacrum, with higher chances to drop in higher waves. On average, a full 30 wave run drops approximately 0.2 Voices, 0.66 Split Personality, and 1.16 Megalomaniac per Simulacrum.

Version history

Version Changes
  • Added 10 additional waves to the Simulacrum, it now has a total of 30 waves. As you can expect, these extremely difficult extra waves are very rewarding and feature escalating chances for a Delirium boss to spawn.
  • Arrows can no longer stick in walls in Simulacrum areas.
  • Fixed a bug where placing a Map and a Simulacrum into a Map Device and then activating the Map Device would consume both items, rather than display an error.
  • Reduced the size of the Hysteriagate Simulacrum area. This results in monster density being similar to that of the other Simulacrum areas.
  • Introduced to the game.
