Simulacrum is a map fragment obtained by combining 300 Simulacrum SplintersSimulacrum SplinterStack Size: 300Combine 300 Splinters to create a Simulacrum., which can be obtained from Delirium encounters.

Using Simulacrum will open 6 portals to Lunacy's Watch, The Bridge Enraptured, The Syndrome Encampment, Hysteriagate or Oriath Delusion.

The arena is randomly chosen and based on one of Part 2 town areas, which include:

There are a total of 15 waves of enemies to defeat. Interacting with the Strangely Familiar Entity will start each wave. Each wave gradually increases the experience, item level, and number of rewards obtained, but also increases the Deliriousness, monster level, and additional area modifiers affecting enemies. Monsters also gain up to 360-500% more life (unique/rare vs magic/normal respectively) and 70% more damage in later waves[1]. Once the entire wave of enemies is cleared, it will drop rewards based on the reward tile progress. Players can expect up to an average of 5-6 reward tile progress at moderate clear speeds. Starting a new wave will destroy all items on the ground.

The Altar of Lies

A stash is available in the zone, allowing you to store items between waves.

The Delirium bosses: Omniphobia, Fear Manifest can start spawning at wave 3, while Kosis, The Revelation can start spawning from wave 5. They can spawn together starting from wave 5. Their chance to spawn increases with each wave and they can spawn several times per Simulacrum.

(50%)) only drop from waves that contain a Delirium Boss - however, Delirium Bosses do not always drop a unique. More than one unique can drop throughout the entire Simulacrum, with higher chances to drop in higher waves, for an average of slightly above 2 uniques per Simulacrum.[2][3]

Completing all 15 waves of the Simulacrum also spawns the Altar of Lies which allows a character to acquire or change their current Bloodline Ascendancy class to the Delirious Bloodline.

  • The first 15 Waves have been removed from the Simulacrum. Usually, characters reaching this content were a high enough level that the first waves were tedious and unrewarding.
  • We've also added more opportunities to obtain specific Unique Items, such as Voices, by defeating the Bosses as you complete Waves.
  • Simulacrum modifiers that previously granted Monsters 5-10% Overwhelm and 10-25% Physical Damage Reduction now grant 15-25% Physical Damage Reduction.
  • Simulacrum modifiers that granted Monsters Overwhelm and Impale chance can no longer appear. Pure Impale chance modifiers can still appear.

  • Added 10 additional waves to the Simulacrum, it now has a total of 30 waves. As you can expect, these extremely difficult extra waves are very rewarding and feature escalating chances for a Delirium boss to spawn.

  • Fixed a bug where placing a Map and a Simulacrum into a Map Device and then activating the Map Device would consume both items, rather than display an error.
