The air needles the skin with its frigid fury.

The Cavern of Anger is an area in Act 1. This area has no waypoint and is connected to The Cavern of Wrath and The Southern Forest.

The layout is similar to the Cavern of Wrath, with a maze leading to Merveil's Lair (the boss room) in the upper right corner of the map. Piles of gold and treasure indicate that the entrance is nearby.

There is a Treasure Chest in the area, which contains the optional unique monster Ambrosia, Daughter of Merveil. There is no loot from that chest, however.

After defeating Merveil's first form, her hoard of gold turns into bones, revealing that it was only an illusion. Killing her second form opens the door to the Southern Forest in Act 2 and activates its waypoint.
