A sand spitter is a type of beast monster typically found in coastal areas of Wraeclast. They use projectile attacks and may emerge from shield crabs upon death. Sand spitters generally resist lightning damage.

Sand spitters are a crustacean-insect hybrid species that plague the beaches and cliffs of Wraeclast, able to burrow underground to set up an ambush and can fire projectiles to injure and incapacitate their prey.
