Primal Crushclaw is a T3 harvestable monster. It can be spawned in The Sacred Grove randomly. It drops Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Primal Crystallised Lifeforce".

The 3D model is similar to Brinecrack of Act 6, itself a Lurcher.

The spectred version of this monster has a different metadata id.[1]

Monster stats

Fetching data...

It is not clear that the monster always spawns as a rare monster or not, thus the infobox on the right assume it is a normal monster. Note that rare monsters have more than 1 or more archnemesis modifiers which affect the damage and life even more. The harvest plot in-game also shown the additional monster life scaling modifiers.

If want to use the infobox for spectre, use lower part of the infobox which is for spectre (indicated by the metadata id), set the monster as minion (and untick map monster) as well as proper monster level (e.g. lv 20 Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Raise Spectre" raises a spectre with monster level 70 as of 3.19 patch)

Note that the calculated damage is for default attack only.

Recipes (3.11-3.18)

This article describes historical game content.

Version 3.19.0 disassociate the craft with monster

Upon killing all the monster of the plot that contain Primal Crushclaw and other monsters, Primal Crushclaw will grant one of the following one time use harvest crafting option:[2]

  • Change a Unique Bestiary item or item with an Aspect into Lures of the same beast family
  • Change a Harbinger Unique or Unique Piece into a random Beachhead Map
  • Change a Unique Item into Perandus Coins. Rarer Unique Items are worth more Perandus Coins (Removed in version 3.16.0)
Tips

"Bestiary"

  • The Bestiary node in Delve, drops a rare item with a random Aspect mod. Make sure your item filter shows these items. Alternatively, buy it from other players.
Lastly, may be it is not economical to craft an aspect mod on item via beastcrafting and then use that item in this harvest crafting recipe.
  • Aspect and the created lure:
ingredient Outcome
item with Aspect of the Avian mod / Saqawal's unique Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Saqawine Lure"
item with Aspect of the Cat mod / Farrul's unique Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Farric Lure"
item with Aspect of the Crab mod / Craiceann's unique Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Craicic Lure"
item with Aspect of the Spider mod / Fenumus' unique Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Fenumal Lure"

"Harbinger"

  • Beachhead map itself is not eligible to be an ingredient to create a random Beachhead Map.
  • The recipe create white/yellow/red tier Beachhead map, or the Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Infused Beachhead"

Classification

Bestiary classification of Primal Crushclaw:

  • Genus: Crabs
  • Group: Crustaceans
  • Family: The Deep

Note: Primal Crushclaw actually belong to the Lurchers genus.

Version History

Version Changes
3.19.0d
  • Reduced the life of Primal Blisterlord by 23%, Primal Crushclaw by 15%, and Vivid Devourer by 15%, in order to bring them more in line with other Harvest monsters.
  • These changes do not affect the Spectred versions of these monsters.
3.19.0c
  • Increased the Lifeforce yield in Harvest encounters in lower Map tiers.
3.19.0
  • Rather than being presented with a selection of crafting options that must be used immediately, you now receive itemised, tradeable lifeforce of the appropriate colour. This lifeforce can be used later, in your own time, at the horticrafting bench in your hideout. Its crafting options are now priced in terms of this itemised lifeforce currency.
  • We have rebalanced all Harvest crafts for the new system and have removed a bunch of filler crafts and some ones with deterministic outcomes that were incredibly RNG-gated before. Some crafts that provided access to exclusive content, like the special Offerings to the Goddess, have been removed because these items can now be found in more appropriate locations elsewhere in the game.
  • Lures can no longer be obtained.
  • Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Infused Beachhead" Unique Maps now have a chance to drop from the Tier 15 The Beachhead Unique Map Boss encounter.
3.16.0
  • Perandus league and related content has been removed.
3.14.0
  • Crafts are no longer guaranteed from seeds. Now, seeds of Tiers 1, 2 and 3 each have a chance to provide a craft, with Tier 4 seeds still guaranteeing a craft. Please note that the number of Tier 2 and 3 seeds encountered in Harvest Plots has remained unchanged, so the encounters will remain as challenging as they were before.
  • Sources of Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Perandus Coin" have had their coin counts normalised.
  • [Undocumented This change was not documented by any official sources. It was discovered through player testing or datamining.] Above change also affects Primal Crushclaw's crafting recipe
  • The base life of all Harvest monsters has been reduced by 30-50%, however Harvest machinery now grants monsters around 100% extra increased life on average. The intention here is to keep the Life values of Monsters spawned in Harvest encounters approximately the same as they were before, but significantly lower the life values on the Desecrated versions of these Monsters to bring them into line with other Desecratable Monsters. Please note that Primal Blisterlords and Primal Crushclaws have had their life reduced by a greater percentage as a result of this change.
3.13.0
  • [Undocumented This change was not documented by any official sources. It was discovered through player testing or datamining.] Now spawns in The Sacred Grove at random, waiting the player to harvest.
3.12.0
  • [Undocumented This change was not documented by any official sources. It was discovered through player testing or datamining.] Its seed Module Error: No results found for item using search term "item_name = Primal Crushclaw Bulb" no longer drop.
3.11.0
  • Introduced to game.
