It is obtained occasionally after defeating the Maven.

Strategies

As the lower tier modifier is removed, it is recommended that you only use the Lesser currencies of the Eldritch implicit types you don't want due to the relative cost.

  • Start with a tier 4 Exarch/tier 1 Eater item (or vice versa) with a t4 implicit you want to upgrade.
  • There is a 50% chance to hit t5 Exarch, in which case the Eater implicit is removed. Apply an Lesser Eldritch IchorLesser Eldritch IchorStack Size: 10Adds a Lesser Eater of Worlds implicit modifier to
a Body Armour, Boots, Gloves or Helmet
This replaces any existing implicit modifiers other than Searing Exarch implicit modifiers
Right click this item then left click a normal, magic or rare item to apply it. Cannot be used on Shaper, Elder or Elderslayer influenced items.
to repeat the process. You also have a 50% chance to hit t3 Exarch instead; whether you should gamble another Orb of Conflict or reroll implicits with an Exceptional Eldritch EmberExceptional Eldritch EmberStack Size: 10Adds an Exceptional Searing Exarch implicit modifier to

Right click this item then left click a normal, magic or rare item to apply it. Cannot be used on Shaper, Elder or Elderslayer influenced items.
to recover the t4 mod will depend on the relative price/availability/weight of the mods.
  • Repeat this process to hit t6 Exarch; at this point, you can use an Exceptional Eldritch IchorExceptional Eldritch IchorStack Size: 10Adds an Exceptional Eater of Worlds implicit modifier to

to hit a desirable Eater implicit (thus leaving your item at t6/t4).
  • In niche cases, you may want to hit t5/t5; simply use an Orb of Conflict on a t6/t4 item to do so. Note that t5/t5 items are not considered dominated and you will not be able to use Eldritch Currencies on it.
