Cleave is a melee attack that deals damage with all equipped weapons to enemies in a 180 degree arc in front of the player. When dual wielding, equipment requirement applies to both weapons, and each weapon does reduced damage. Requires an axe, sword, two-handed axe, or two-handed sword.

Skill functions and interactions

  • Dual Wielding: Cleave attacks with both weapons simultaneously, averaging the attack speed of both weapons and combining the attacks of both weapons into a single hit. Both weapons will roll their damage values and their accuracy and critical strike checks separately, then combine the expected damage of both weapons. It is possible to miss or crit with one weapon, but not the other.
    • On-hit effects will only check the result of the final hit.
    • Any ailments applied by the skill will scale off the final hit.
    • The final hit is considered a critical strike as long as one of the weapons rolled a crit.
