Elemental Hit is an attack skill which performs a basic attack that deals added damage of a random element in an area. It has more damage and area of effect against enemies affected by the corresponding elemental ailment. Elemental Hit can be performed with any weapon, or with no weapon equipped.

Skill functions and interactions

  • Dual Wielding: Using Elemental Hit while dual wielding will alternate the weapon used for attacking.
  • Elemental Damage: Each of the three damage types is increased by "elemental damage with attacks", "increased elemental damage" and "more Elemental Damage" passives and item mods, and in reverse, affected by any decrease/less elemental damage mods and passives.
  • Random damage type: Elemental Hit chooses a random damage type each time it is used. That use can only deal damage of the chosen type. The unique threshold jewels Combat Focus can be used to exclude elements from being chosen.
  • Damage conversion: All three elements are present on the gem when it comes to damage conversion. The selection of an element happens afterwards and does not retroactively change the results of conversion.[1]
