The Vaal Ruins Level 2 is a zone in Act 2. This zone does not have a waypoint and is connected to The Vaal Ruins Level 1 and The Wetlands.
The layout is a maze similar to the previous level. At one point the path is blocked by the Ancient Seal, and once activated it unleashes a strange darkness. Stairs leading up to the Wetlands are on the other side.
