Gladiator
The Gladiator is an Ascendancy class for Duelists.
Overview
The Gladiator is both an offence and defence oriented class with a mixture of speed, power, and protection, revolving around bleed and block. The Gladiator Ascendancy offers support for blocking, counterattacks, lucky damage, dual wielding, Endurance and Frenzy charge bonuses, blind, bleed, maim, explode capabilities, and Stance bonuses. Furthermore, all of his minor passives grant increased attack speed, bolstering his offence.
Painforged allows the Gladiator to gain additional chance to block attack damage and makes counterattacks deal double damage. Reigning Veteran or Violent Retaliation grants you more defensive or offensive bonuses for more block investment respectively. Outmatch and Outlast provides Endurance and Frenzy charge bonuses, specifically themed around dual wielding. Blood in the Eyes and Gratuitous Violence amplify your bleeds significantly, enhancing its capabilities through auxiliary effects such as blind, maim, and explode. Arena Challenger revolves around Blood Stance and Sand Stance bonuses, encouraging you to use both the stances to utilise the power of this notable fully.
