Gladiator
The Gladiator is an Ascendancy class for Duelists.
Overview
The Gladiator is both an offence and defence oriented class with a mixture of power and protection. The Gladiator Ascendancy offers support for blocking, dual wielding, boss killing, Retaliation skills, explode capabilities, and bleed. Furthermore, all of his minor passives grant increased attack speed, bolstering his offence.
Determined Survivor grants a greatly improved base block chance when the Gladiator is either dual wielding or using a shield, and More Than Skill further grants more effective block chance by making all of your block rolls Lucky. Measured Retaliation gives enemies no respite, as it grants the Gladiator more opportunities to use Retaliation skills. As for the Gladiator's bleed-based notables, Gratuitous Violence and Jagged Technique amplify your bleeds significantly, enhancing its capabilities through auxiliary effects such as explode and Aggravation, which ensures maximum bleed damage on foes. War of Attrition makes the Gladiator more dangerous the longer you stay in combat against Rare or Unique enemies. Weapon Master grants a variety of bonuses based on the Gladiator's equipped dual-wield capable melee weapon(s).
