Path of Exile: Trial of the Ancestors an expansion of Path of Exile. It was officially announced by Grinding Gear Games on July 28th, 2023, and released on August 18th, 2023 alongside the Ancestor league.

The main content of this expansion is the Ancestor league, as well as changes to the core game such as 16 new Atlas keystones and atlas passive tree changes, Guardian and Chieftain Ascendancy classes rework, 14 new support gems, and the reintroduction of the Forbidden Sanctum, a former Sanctum league mechanic into the core game.
