The Vaal Ruins Level 1 and The Vaal Ruins Level 2 were merged into The Vaal Ruins in Version 2.0.0 due to zone progression rebalancing.

The Vaal Ruins Level 1 was an area in Act 2. This area did not have a waypoint and was connected to The Riverways and The Northern Forest.

To enter the Vaal Ruins, players must finish the quest The Root of the Problem. This requires the Baleful GemBaleful GemThe withering glare of corruption, made
