Lightning Tendrils is a channelingspell that releases surges of lightning damage in quick succession in an arc in front of you, with every third surge always dealing a critical strike.
Area of Effect: Lightning Tendrils deals Area Damage in a semicircular arc with a base radius of 24 units. Modifiers such as increased Area of Effect will affect the radius of the cone but not the angle.

Lightning Tendrils now deals 1 to 6 Lightning Damage at gem level 1 (previously 1 to 4), scaling up to 75 to 1420 at gem level 20 (previously 55 to 1052), and has 130% Effectiveness of Added Damage at all gem levels (previously 100%).
Stronger Pulses no longer deal 200% more Damage with Hits, instead Stronger Pulses always Critically Strike.
Now releases a Stronger Pulse every 3 Pulses (previously every 4).
Quality on Phantasmal Lightning Tendrils now provides "Deals 0-30% less Damage" (previously 0-15%), and "Stronger Pulses deal 0-150% more Damage with Hits and Ailments" (previously 0-250%).
Lightning Tendrils now deals 1 to 4 Lightning Damage at gem level 1 (unchanged), up to 55 to 1052 at gem level 20 (previously 37 to 703). Stronger Pulses now deal 200% more Damage with Hits and Ailments (previously 100%).

Lightning Tendrils has been reworked. It is now a channelled skill, and deals more damage on every 4th pulse. It has also received a visual overhaul. The new version hits slightly less frequently than previously, but has higher sustained damage overall.
