This "Evilandra" seems not as gentle as the normal Kalandra, seeming encouraging the Exile's doom with lines like "You must be destroyed!" and "Foolish creature!". In the game data, Evilandra has 5 voice lines that seemingly accompany skills - listed 2 through 6. Only for the 6th one, "Duplicate!", do we have player data for. Upon saying the line, she seems to duplicate all the bosses the player is fighting, making he encounter substantially more difficult. However, once the encounter is completed, two [[Reflecting Mist]]s may be left instead of one.

The [[Ancient Etchings]] found in the Lake were written by Kalandra.
Evilandra also has two fishing-related voice lines: "In time, all questions shall find their answer.", and "The Master Fisherman once fished at this Lake. He... should not have done that.", presumably referring to [[Krillson]].

Lore

The Lake of Kalandra

According to Cadiro, Kalandra is rumoured ancient being, possessing the body of an owl and the head of a human. When we meet her in the Lake of Kalandra, we see her as so.

The Ancient Etchings found in the Lake were written by her and detail her story within the Lake. According to Ancient Etchings I through VII,

Kalandra found the Lake at a time when there was nothing but the Lake. It was barren, hot, and lifeless realm, bubbling with magma and primordial ooze. Curiosity drew Kalandra to enter the Lake.

Once Kalandra entered the Lake, she found herself trapped and unable to leave. Whenever she leaves, she finds herself back within the Lake again with no memory of her time outside of it.

While trapped within the Lake, Kalandra was able to observe the outside world, unable to join or directly interfere. She observes the invention of religion with disapproval, writing: "What is a god, but a thief of virtue?".

Over time, humans - from peasants to grand heroes find their way to Kalandra, in their "time of greatest despair and need". They talk to her, but neither are able to help each other.

Eventually, Kalandra came into contact with the Order of the Djinn, the group Jun was formerly a part of. They promised to free Kalandra of her Lake and devoted themselves to uncovering her mystery. However, they revealed a terrible secret, a secret so terrible that they burned all scrolls relating to her and the scribes studying her set themselves aflame. The Djinn's side of the story is detailed in the Rusted through Winged Reliquary Scarabs.

Kalandra plans to lure a human from the outside world, driven by ambition, to set the "proper events in motion" and free her from the Lake. However, she does not appear to have been successful.

Evil Kalandra

As reported by many players, there appears to be an "evil variant" of Kalandra that rarely appears within the Lake. While the normal Kalandra is called "ArbiterWild" in the game files, this new variant is called "ArbiterWildEvil". In her voice lines, she is called "Evilandra". She has glowing red eyes and appears more disheveled than the normal, more composed Kalandra.

However, once the encounter is completed, two Reflecting Mists may be left instead of one.

Evilandra also has two fishing-related voice lines: "In time, all questions shall find their answer.", and "The Master Fisherman once fished at this Lake. He... should not have done that.", presumably referring to Krillson.
