Warrior

The Warrior is the strength-oriented character class of Path of Exile 2.

The Riverbank

The Riverbank is the first area of Path of Exile 2. The exile washes up ashore on the Riverbank after narrowly escaping death on the gallows and jumping into the ocean.

Wooden Club

Wooden Club is a One-Handed Mace basetype. The Wooden Club is the first weapon encountered by the The Warrior when they wake up on The Riverbank.

Drowned is a type of zombie encountered in Act 1. Drowned is the first monster encountered in the game, appearing in The Riverbank. Drowned attack with a default melee swing.

Earthquake

Earthquake is a melee attack slam skill that smashes the ground, dealing damage in an area and leaving behind Jagged Ground that slows enemies. The Jagged Ground erupts in a powerful aftershock after a short duration.

  • Attack Speed: 75% of Base
  • Attack Damage (level 1): 40%
  • Requirements (level 1): Level 1, Two Hand Mace, One Hand Mace
  • Description: Smashes the ground, dealing damage in an area and leaving behind Jagged Ground that slows enemies. The Jagged Ground erupts in a powerful aftershock after a short duration. Attacking again before the eruption will not create another area of Jagged Ground.

Rolling Slam

Rolling Slam is a melee attack slam skill that slams the ground stunning enemies and knocking them away, then continuing forward to perform a devastating second slam. A level 1 Rolling Slam skill gem is always found in a Large Chest in The Riverbank by The Warrior.

Checkpoint

Checkpoints are environmental objects that replenish life, mana and flask charges when interacted with. After death, the exile may choose to respawn at the last checkpoint they visited. Checkpoints are located before all bosses.

Draven, Eternal Praetor

Mechanics

Arena

Upon entering the arena, Draven will enter through the entrance as a spirit. He will slam through the center of the area, making a crater, and emerge out of the crater in his full form.

Spectral ghosts periodically fly into the arena, landing and forming enemies that will attempt to target the exile with a ghostly skill, which deals damage in a circular AoE radius. The skill repeats twice, with increased AoE on the second repeat. These ghosts will disappear after using their skills once.

Small spectral ghosts will periodically appear throughout the fight. They will appear to be drawn towards Draven, possibly against their will. Upon reaching him, they be absorbed. They appear to grant him ghostly energy. If the exile comes into contact with the spirits during their movement, they will slam into the ground, creating a small AoE radius. If there are bones in this radius, they will be resurrected as Risen Rattlers. If one of the larger four graves in each corner of the arena are in this radius, Eternal Knights will emerge.

Skills

Ghostly Projectiles

  • Draven will swing his sword, releasing 11 projectiles in an arc.

Parting Flame Walls

  • Draven will stomp the ground, creating parallel walls of ghostly flame in front of him. After a short delay, he will slam in front of him, and the waves will part, dealing contact damage.

Sword combo

  • Draven will swing his sword several times in quick succession.

Dialogue

  • "I can end meaningless life!"
  • "Your meaningless life ends now!"
  • "Perish!"
  • "Your efforts will be in vain!"
  • "To me, Asinia!" (on the exile's death)

Ruthless Support

Ruthless Support is a strength support gem that causes supported skills to deal a Ruthless Blow with every third hit, causing 200% more stun buildup.

Requirements (Tier 1): Level 5, +15 strength

Description: Supports melee strike or slam skills. Every third time you use a supported attack, that use of the skill will be more able to stun enemies.

Enduring Stuns Support

Enduring Stuns Support is a strength support gem that grants an endurance charge when supported skills stun an enemy with a melee hit.
