General Gravicius is a boss in Act 3, located in The Ebony Barracks. Defeating him is the objective of the quest Sever the Right Hand.
Strategy
For this boss, fire resistance is crucial. When at range he will spam his Module Error: Too many skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Firestorm". Please choose only one of the following ids:
KaomWarriorFireStorm - Base duration is (1.20-1.50) seconds, Deals (2-243) to (3-365) Fire Damage, 25% chance to Ignite enemies, One impact every (0.15-0.12) seconds, Base radius is 1 metre (page)
ProphecyFireStorm - Base duration is (1.20-1.50) seconds, Deals (2-84) to (3-126) Fire Damage, 25% chance to Ignite enemies, One impact every (0.12-0.10) seconds, Base radius is 1 metre (page) skill and his Module Error: Too many skills found with q_where = skill.active_skill_name="Molten Shell". Please choose only one of the following ids:
GravicusMoltenShell - Base duration is 10.00 seconds, Deals (143-2698) to (214-4048) Fire Damage, Shields break after (752-4460) total Damage is prevented, (4352-19367) additional Armour (page)
GoatmanMoltenShellInvasion - Base duration is 10.00 seconds, Deals (15-5246) to (23-7869) Fire Damage, Shields break after (4-2648) total Damage is prevented, (162-4334) additional Armour (page). His Molten shell does a lot of fire damage which could even 1 shot weaker characters. In addition to the fire damage he deals, 2 of his guards cast a curse (
Flammability) that reduces your fire resistance.
General Gravicius has a high energy shield, so it may take some time to defeat him. Do not be afraid to use a portal scroll to refill your potions if they run out.
Dialogue
Gravicius is voiced by New Zealand actor, Daryl Habraken.[1]
Gravicius says a set dialogue aimed at the player when you approach him. This varies by class.
- Duelist : Give up the fight duelist, Your soul was lost long ago!
- Templar : You're god's greatest disappointment.
- Shadow: You're not the only one who wields death as a weapon, boy!
- Ranger/Scion : God gave this world to Man, not to you, little girl!
- Marauder : You've forgotten your place, Karui slave!
- Witch : I shall purify you in flame, whore of nightmare!
Effects
Gravicius's firestorm effect has the Siege firestorm skill effect which is a purchasable microtransaction for players to obtain.
