The Trickster is an Ascendancy class for Shadows.
Overview
The Trickster is a versatile defensive class focused around evasion and energy shield-related defenses, strong recovery, and generic damage bonuses. The Trickster gains added layers of defence to his evasion and energy shield from Escape Artist, which they can further augment with leech with Soul Drinker, or spell suppression and energy shield recharge with Spellbreaker. Other layers of defense he can acquire include Heartstopper for alternating defenses against hits or damage over time and One Step Ahead to become unaffected to action speed reduction while slowing nearby enemies down. Finally, Swift Killer grants major frenzy charge bonuses and Polymath grants more damage and resource recovery based on how many unique Masteries he allocates on the passive tree.
