Secondary damage

Secondary damage is a component of certain attack and spell skills. It is also attainable through certain passives and items. It is a damage source that is not itself a spell, an attack or damage over time.

Modifiers to attacks, spells and damage over time do not apply to secondary damage, although it can be scaled by other kinds of damage modifiers where applicable. For example, the secondary damage component of Detonate DeadDetonate DeadSpell, AoE, Fire
