Kinetic Blast is an attackskill that fires a projectile from a wand, causing explosions at and around the projectile's collision, each damaging enemies caught in their area.
Primary explosion: A Kinetic Blast projectile creates a primary explosion wherever it collides. A primary explosion created by colliding directly with an enemy does not deal a second hit to that enemy,[1] similar to other area on-collision effects like Elemental HitElemental HitAttack, Melee, Strike, Fire, Cold, Lightning, AoE, Prismatic Level: (1-20) Cost: (6-10) Mana AoE Radius: 10Requires Level 12Each attack with a melee weapon will choose an element at random, and will only be able to deal damage of that element. Secondary explosions: Additional explosions are larger, and occur around each collision, divided across equal arcs (like pizza slices). When there is no space in an arc to create an explosion, the explosion for that arc is skipped. A typical-sized target is not hit by explosions created from a collision against them, and because modifiers to area of effect apply to both the explosions' spread and size, increasing or reducing the aoe does not cause overlap against a single target. Greater area will however increase coverage against multiple targets.

Now deals 35% less Area Damage (down from 25% less).
Explosion placement has been reworked. They are now divided across 4 equal arcs (like pizza slices). In cases where there is no space in an arc that it could place an explosion, that explosion is not placed. Explosion spacing is also now more regular. The net result is that in open spaces, the area coverage will, on average, be more even, but single-target damage in tight spaces is now lower.
Kinetic Blast's radius has increased from 10 to 14. Kinetic Blast's spread of explosions has also been increased to avoid overlapping with the primary target as a result of the changes to the explosion radius.
