The Warden is an Ascendancy class for Rangers, that has replaced the Raider ascendancy.
Overview
The Warden utilizes elements from the Warden of the Maji Wildwood ascendancy class and utilizes tinctures and Barkskin to their advantage, as well as elemental ailments. Three of their skills modifies elemental ailment applications to make them more compatible with applying them multiple times. Avatar of the Wilds causes each of their elemental ailment application to build up power towards unleashing Unbound Avatar to temporarily gain a massive boost to elemental damage and ailment chance. The Warden's tincture skills improves its uptime or allow them to be used in new and exclusive ways, including allowing them to be used with ranged weapons or use two tinctures at the same time. Mother's Teachings grants them access to the Barkskin skill, reserving mana to grant them a buff that grants stacks of Bark that reduces incoming physical damage, and evasion chance when they're removed. Lesson of the Seasons further improves Barkskin to also provide protection against spells.

Version history

In version 3.25.0, the Warden Ascendancy class replaced the Raider. The Raider was a Ranger Ascendancy class built around frenzy charges, Onslaught, and Phasing, having access to notables which grant them the buff or charge generation, which can then be further improved by taking the notables behind them to gain significant bonuses while having them active.
