Blood in the Eyes is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the Gladiator. It grants chance to apply Bleeding with attacks, causes your attacks to Maim, causes your hits to have a chance to Blind bleeding enemies, and causes enemies you've maimed to take increased physical damage.

This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Skill Gem you wish to augment. Right click to remove from a socket.

Attack Hits against Blinded Enemies have 50% chance to Maim

Blood in the Eyes in Ruthless mode has the following changes:

  • Blind now requires an attack hit (instead of any hit), and has a 50% chance to apply (from 25%).
  • Maim now requires enemies to be blinded (instead of bleeding), and has a 50% chance to apply (from 100%).
  • Maim no longer applies additional damage taken.
