Vessel of the Vaal is the first boss in the Apex of Sacrifice (level 70) and in the Alluring Abyss (level 80). Its design is based on Vaal Oversoul. Two Vessels of the Vaal will spawn at the same time.
Location
To reach the Apex of Sacrifice or the Alluring Abyss, the player needs to combine four Vaal fragments. The two Vessels of the Vaal are the first guardians of Atziri.
Strategy
Killing one Vessel of the Vaal will drastically increase the second one's cast speed. Without enough damage avoidance or high dps, the two bosses must be dropped to a very low health and finished in quick succession.
The lightning beam spell will always shock the player, making second hits deal additional damage. This can be maneuvered by side-stepping around the boss(es) or using a

with shock immunity. The spiral of Ball Lightning is dangerous to melee range players where they may be hit by multiple balls. These spells have little threat at far range. The Icestorm may catch the player and chill, making the lightning beam difficult to dodge. A good movement skill, chill immunity or a flask with freeze-immunity can be used to negate this.
