Tinctures were removed from the game in Version 3.23.2c.

A tincture is an item obtainable from Affliction encounters that can be equipped in a flask slot and toggled on to enhance a character's weapons with special bonuses. To use a tincture, a player must first choose the "Warden of the Maji" Wildwood ascendancy class and allocate the Coated Blade notable ascendancy passive. To obtain tinctures, players must obtain Vivid Wisps from Affliction encounters and then find the Warden of Eaves within the same encounter to use the shop. Tinctures are tradeable.

Only a single tincture effect can be active at once, though multiple tinctures can be equipped. Tincture effects only apply to attacks with weapons, including from proxies like ballistas or Blade TrapBlade TrapTrap, Attack, AoE

  • All modifiers from tinctures that have effects when killing an enemy only apply to killing blows (hits) from weapons while a tincture is active. It does not apply to kills from damage over time.

How to Apply Tinctures

When hovering over a tincture it reads "RIGHT CLICK TO APPLY THIS TO YOUR WEAPONS..."

If you right click the tincture in your inventory, it will not work.

To be able to use the tincture, first add it to a flask slot, then right click the flask, or press 1, to apply the effects your weapon.
